Orange County Partnership to Honor Nick Fitzpatrick As Organization’s 2023 Most Valuable Partner on June 6

The Orange County Partnership has announced that local farmer and successful entrepreneur Nick Fitzpatrick, President of Aden Land Holdings of Montgomery, NY, is the economic development organization’s 2023 Most Valuable Partner.

Fitzpatrick, who leads the multifaceted family-run enterprise that includes Aden Brook (Farm), Aden Land Holdings, Aden Aggregates and the fast-growing Aden Logistics, will be honored by the Orange County Partnership on Tuesday, June 6 at the organization’s Annual Most Valuable Partner Breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. at The Barn at Villa Venezia in Middletown, NY.

Fitzpatrick’s business acumen has resulted in Aden Land Holdings facilitating the sale of critical large parcels of land that generated a half a billion dollars in investment and thousands of new construction and permanent jobs in Orange County.

It was Fitzpatrick’s sale of a large parcel in Montgomery that allowed Medline to build its more than $120 million, nearly1.4-million-square-foot facility in Montgomery. Most recently, Aden Land Holdings sold two large parcels in the Slate Hill section of Wawayanda to Scannell Properties of Indianapolis, IN that has led to a proposed $380 million in total investment between two projects—a 900,000-square-foot Amazon facility and an 800,000-square-foot development that will be a build-to-suit for a beverage distribution company.

Orange County Partnership officials note that these two projects in the Town of Wawayanda will result in hundreds of permanent jobs, the extension of infrastructure down the Route 6 corridor and significant local labor construction activity for Orange County.

“What makes Nick Fitzpatrick special is his core values that guide his business: ‘Positive, Prompt, and Pro-active” that have driven his success at Aden Brook. The cumulative impact of his keen no-nonsense development foresight has led to what will generate millions in multipliers that will benefit Orange County in perpetuity,” said Orange County Partnership President and CEO Maureen Halahan. “For these and so many other reasons that will be highlighted at the MVP Breakfast, it was an easy choice and in fact a unanimous choice of the Partnership Board to honor him as this year’s Most Valuable Partner.”

Partnership officials noted that Fitzpatrick has also established a burgeoning and highly successful company that has in just six years, put the county on the map in the logistics sector. Aden Logistics, an international 3PL (third-party logistics) firm headquartered at 574 Route 416 in Montgomery, in just six years is projected to generate sales this year of approximately $65 million and is on track to achieve total sales of $160 million by the end of 2025. The firm has operations in the United States and Columbia.
