With the economy booming in 2019, it’s no wonder that developers are having more confidence in the county and spec building is coming back into full swing! Here is a snapshot of some recent commercial development activity:

• Matrix Development Group is now underway, creating a 242,000 SF state-of-the-art spec warehouse building in the Town of Wawayanda.
• The Frassetto Companies currently have more than 600,000 SF of commercial space in Orange County with two new buildings on the horizon going up on Tower Drive in the Town of Wallkill.
• Simone Development is actively developing industrial properties at New York Stewart International Airport. This includes a 128-room Marriott Spring Hill hotel as well as 11 other sites at the airport.
